Color wheel with a monochromatic color triangle lives on the screen - it’s also easier to use than Color panel in Illustrator. AD saves picker history, whereas in Illustrator you would have to manually add each color to the palette. The last picked color lives in your swatches. You drag a tool from color swatches to an area where you want to pick a color. Color picker tool (eyedropper) works differently in AD, but I would say it’s more intuitive to use.In order to have an actual textbox, you’ll have to draw a rectangle, selected it and go to Layer -> Convert to text frame. In other words, it’s a shortcut to change size of the text. If you try to draw a text box with a text tool in AD, it’s going to show you a letter changing its size.No need to switch between different tools to add and manipulate anchor points. Node tool is a combined anchor point tool.
